A didactic wall chart of the celestial spheres in a segregated gallery of the basilica of Saint-Sernin, Toulouse France, is reported to be datable to the 13th Century: « Dans une petite galerie difficilement accessible, et donc fermée au public, de la basilique Saint-Sernin, deux cartes du ciel ont été peintes sur une paroi au XIIIe siècle. À cette époque, l'université de Toulouse venait d'être fondée et ces cartes ont probablement servi de support pédagogique pour l'étude de l'univers ».

Does anybody know whether the dating of these charts was determined with reliable methods?
