Inspired by the call for papers on other things I though It might be worth
posting this one on here to on behalf of the World forum for motor museums.

They have their conference in Germany this year at the The Auto & Technik
MUSEUM, SINSHEIM in southern Germany.

DATE
Monday, September 12 to Friday, September 16, 2016.

As part of the Forum numerous lectures will be held in Sinsheim that are
especially aimed at managers, exhibition curators, and marketing employees
of transport and automobile museums. There will be joint workshops in a
relaxed atmosphere, allowing the exchange of ideas and internalising what
is being presented. Since planning has not been completed yet, we will
still gladly accept speakers and their specialist lectures.

From my discussions with them they are interested in papers on all aspects
of museum management, interpretation and marketing, so any
paper wouldn't need to be specifically motor museum based, but could
discuss opportunities, challenges or solutions faced by all museums and how
they can be approached.

As this group has a computer focus im sure there are lots of interesting
opportunities there, but they could be on other subjects.

the full call for papers information can be seen here

I would be interested in talking on the issues, opportunities and myths of
putting exhibitions online, but its the same week as Im working at the Spa
Classic 6 hour race, so not sure if i can get there.

I am posting this on a personal capacity as i feel it might be interesting
to both the group and the WFFMM, I am not part of the organisation of the
WFFMM ( I have checked they are happy for me to post this here)

if anyone feels its inappropriate please remove it.

Cheers

Graham Walden
