Subject: Experience China course - Shanghai July 25 - August 5, 2016
Dear Colleagues
Do you know any primary or secondary teachers who would be interested to visit China this summer, learn Mandarin Chinese and help
to introduce/support the subject back at their UK school? If so, please can you pass on this message of a great opportunity for them?
Experience China course, 25 July ¨C 5 August 2016:
This is an immersive course
in Shanghai for UK primary and secondary school teachers with little or no prior Mandarin Chinese. It will enable colleagues to learn some basic Chinese and to gain first-hand cultural experience, ready to take back to the classroom. Study of the language
is supported by an online course prior to and after the visit to China.
The EC course is heavily subsidised by Hanban, and has been run successfully by UCL IOE Confucius Institute in collaboration with
East Normal University in Shanghai in the last four years.
Please find all the details online via the link below including the Course Guide and how to apply. If you have any further questions,
do get in touch with us at [log in to unmask]
