Dear all, (with apologies for cross-posting to those who see this more than once!)

CILIP YLG Eastern branch is holding "Shadowing and Chattering: getting the best out of book awards and reading groups", a training day looking at some examples of best practice of running book groups, on Friday 18th March 2016, 09:30 - 15:30, at Ely Library, Cambridgeshire (CB7 4ZH).

There will be information and guidance from Joy Court (Chair of the CILIP CKG Awards, and co-author of 'Read to Succeed'), and Kirsten Francis and Gail Arnold from Norfolk SLS will provide the latest news about the impact of Chatterbooks in schools in Norfolk. Julian Sedgwick will provide some discussion points on his books, and give us a sneaky peak at his newest title, while Carolina Rabei will talk about her own works, and how an idea or a piece of inspiration is converted to a beautiful illustrated book.

Attendance is priced at £10 for CILIP members, £15 for non-members, and this will be charged via invoice. You can see full details and book (for free, to enable charge-free cancellations up until 11th March) at: http://ylgeastern-shadowing-and-chattering.eventbrite.co.uk

Please feel free to contact me with any questions, or to use the "Contact" function via Eventbrite.

Warm regards,

Isobel Morris,
Treasurer, CILIP YLG Eastern Branch
