Britain and the EU The Lord Liddle Political Advisor and Consultant Chaired by Andrea Mammone, Department of History This timely event will discuss Britain's membership of the European Union, also in light of the renegotiation process and the anti-EU campaign. Following his experience as Tony Blair's special adviser on European policy, the years in the European Commission, and some authored books on these topics, Lord Liddle will assess the politics of an unpredictable referendum and the outcomes of an eventual Brexit. The lecture will be followed by a wine reception.
