Dear Friends & Colleagues,

I have started a petition urging David Cameron to examine the issue of the retention and senior level representation of Black and minority ethnic employees.

I am tired of seeing the issue mentioned (when mentioned) only in sector silos e.g. media, academia, civil service when the issues are in fact the same (though they might manifest differently depending on the rules and policies of the particular organisation or sector).

The purpose of the petition is to a) highlight the connection between the sectors and b) keep race & racism on the political and public consciousness.

I do not expect miracles but see this as a complement to the important work and activism that many are already doing.

Please sign and share amongst your networks, your family and friends:

With thanks

Nicola
