This First International Conference "Open Gis" within the  XIIth International exhibition and scientific forum ¡°Interexpo GEO- Siberia-2016¡± organized by the Siberian State University of Geosystems and Technologies that will be held 20 ¨C 22 April 2016 in Novosibirsk (Russia) at the Novosibirsk Expo Centre.

Forum organizers are Siberian State University of Geosystems and Technology , exhibition operator "InterGeoSiberia" with the support of the Novosibirsk Region Government, international specialized organizations (DVW, FIG, ISPRS, ICA, ISDE, IEAS, DGfK, EAGE), the leading companies, universities and scientific institutions.

We hope more universities and schools in Russia will start establishing OSGeo  labs to help expand more education opportunities there.
