Dear GEM members, 

I am writing to you because we are organizing, jointly with the Exploratorium of San Franscisco, a professional development workshop on Tinkering here in Milano from 14 to 16 June 2016. 

Our Museum has initiated a collaboration with the Tinkering Studio of the Exploratorium in 2012, which resulted in a permanent learning space dedicated to Tinkering and Making. In this context, we run training workshops for educators and teachers, programs for students, family audiences, adult visitors and interested professionals (such as designers), and we also coordinate an EU-funded project on Tinkering in Europe. 

The workshop is open to museum educators from all over Europe and beyond, and it will focus on how Tinkering can support creativity and innovation, STEM learning and the development of the 21st century skills.

I am attaching the advertisement with all the details. In it there are all indications for registration if you are interested in participating but if you have any questions, I would be glad to help.
