Hi all,

We weeded our EDC collection many years ago as part of the reorganisation of the Library here and this has been continuing as space and demand diminishes. We have disposed of virtually all journals which are available online (although we kept earlier issues of European economy) and most pre-2000 Eurostat mongraphs and serials, especially where our holdings were patchy. Although the LSE collection is very comprehensive, we have generally directed serious researchers to the BL because they still have very extensive holdings. Since the digitisation policy at the Publications Office has made a lot of early official publications available this has also helped wider access, although the difficulties of tracking down what is or isn't an official publication is still a problem.

Hope this helps

best wishes
