Does anyone here have experience of Autism Catatonia and supporting a student within an FE college?

Any advice about how to support the student, reduce stress, etc. The student is currently studying a Level 2 course but not achieving anything, it isn't a suitable course now due to the Catatonia and there isn't spaces on any other more suitable courses due to the time of year. The student is regressing further as time goes on and we don't want to cause any further stress or cause further regression.

The student's parents would prefer not to withdraw the student from the college but perhaps being withdrawn is the best for the student at the minute.
