APOLOGIES FOR CROSS-POSTING

As part of the 2016 Annual Study Weekend organised by the International Association of Music Libraries(UK&Irl) there will be two presentations focussing on Music Archives and Outreach - both scheduled for Saturday 2nd April 2016 at Chancellors Hotel University of Manchester http://www.chancellorshotel.co.uk/ 
	The full details of these sessions are as follows: 
	9:30 - 10.00 - What makes you special? Archives and Outreach, Heather Roberts, Royal Northern College of Music Archivist (Using case studies to show organisations have used RNCM’s unique heritage and archives to reach new audiences or to generate added value for their communities. Heather has worked with community projects, business anniversary projects, oral history projects and specialist repositories. There will be opportunities for questions)
	18:00 - 18.30 - Richter-Loeb Archive at the Halle, Eleanor Roberts, Deputy Director of Development/Archivist, Hallé Concerts Society (Eleanor will explore the Halle Archive’s newest collection, the Richter-Loeb Archive, much of which relates to the career of Hans Richter who conducted the iconic Hallé Orchestra from 1899-1911)
