DATA MANAGER: MEDICAL RECORDS

Starting salary: Grade 7
Full-Time


As data manager and custodian of our established anonymised medical record
database, you will be responsible for overseeing high quality data
management and data processing.  You will develop and apply automated
algorithms to the data and work with Institute statisticians to prepare the
data for analysis. In addition, you will ensure data integrity and
compliance with Clinical Trials Unit (CTU) Standard Operating Procedures
(SOPs) and liaise with the CTU Data Manager to establish strong systems to
manage and maintain our data sharing repository.

You will have experience of managing and maintaining large datasets with
excellent communication, organisational and management skills. You will
also have experience of health care data and have high level computer
literacy skills, including statistical packages. You will have an
undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in Health
Informatics/clinical data management. Knowledge of SQL programming and
primary care clinical information systems such as EMIS would be an
advantage.
