Dear all, I would like to bring your attention to MSOR Connections, a practitioner journal that aims to publish peer-reviewed articles by and for those involved in learning, teaching, assessment and support of mathematics, statistics and operational research in higher education. This has recently been revived and the second issue in the new series (volume 14 issue 2) has now been published online at https://journals.gre.ac.uk/index.php/msor . MSOR Connections was established in 2001 under the umbrella of the Maths, Stats and OR Network, and established itself as a key resource for those interested in sharing ideas related to mathematics learning, teaching and support. In 2012, the publication was taken over by the Higher Education Academy (HEA) and a further two issues were published. Following the well documented cut in funding, the HEA has been unable to continue its support for Connections since November 2013. However, with the hard work of a committed team of editors and editorial board, permission from the HEA and support from the sigma network http://www.sigma-network.ac.uk/ and the Greenwich Maths Centre at the University of Greenwich, this has allowed the journal to be revived since September 2015 as a termly online journal. We would like to encourage you to consider making a submission to the journal, which is a practitioner journal that aims to publish peer-reviewed articles by and for those involved in learning, teaching, assessment and support of mathematics, statistics and operational research in higher education. Submissions could include case studies, opinion pieces, research articles, student-authored or co-authored articles, resource reviews (technology, books, etc.), short updates (project, policy, etc.) or workshop reports. Prospective authors should visit this website and register as an author for template and submission details. Submissions are welcome at any time, but the deadline for submissions to appear in the next issue of MSOR Connections (volume 14 issue 3) is 29th February 2016.
