Hi everyone,

I would just like to report that my Phocus problem has been fixed, hoorah! It turned out that it was a problem with the Graphics Card, the IT department have put in another card, so I now have two running together apparently, and my Dxdiag thingy no longer says 'Standard Graphics Card Adapter'. I still only have 8GB Ram but so far this is proving to be sufficient.

Thank you so much for all your advice, I wouldn't have been able to get IT to listen to me or check the Graphics card without it.

Best wishes to you all,
Claire :-)

Dear All,

Up to now, I've been shooting to Flex and processing in Phocus - I couldn't shoot to Phocus because the machine was loaded with XP.

I've now had Windows 7 installed, but I have a problem. No doubt I'm overlooking something silly.

I can capture perfectly to Phocus with available light. The problem happens when I use flash.

The files have large areas of red speckling - a bit like what the Overexposed highlight indicator gives you. But, the speckling remains even with the highlight indicator off.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks.

D.

Ps. The reason I want to capture to Phocus, as well as process, is to avail of the Colour Calibration feature. If anyone is using this, I'd be grateful for feedback. But, I need to sort my problem first, obviously. Thanks.
