Dear colleagues,

A colleague of mine found several "bony pieces" within the grave goods from the Middle age necropolis in Serbia (12th century), that has been excavated more then 50 years ago. The "pieces" were found within the child grave - and were found at the area of the pelvis. They were found along with other goods - such as 2 bracelets and a ring. As the child arms were crossed at the stomach area, the peaces got the green color from the bracelets. I have uploaded the photos of those pieces on the following link:

If anyone have any suggestion on identification of those, small bones, I would be pleased to read it. Are they bones of some small intrusive animal? Or maybe something else, such as small bird bones?!
