Hello all,

The TaPRA Exec is now inviting nominations for the 2016 TaPRA David Bradby and Early Career Research Prizes. The closing date for nominations is 19 Feb 2016. The nomination must be proposed by one TaPRA member and supported by another - the nomination forms will be live on the website shortly.

The prizes are part of TaPRA's commitment to foster and promote research across the discipline and, as ever, we urge you to nominate work that has inspired and provoked your work and ways of thinking about theatre and performance.

The David Bradby Award celebrates outstanding research (including practice-based/applied research) in any area of the discipline. The prize is awarded for research that has had an appropriate form of circulation/dissemination must have been published or launched within 24 months of the nomination date. Research which has already secured funding (in any shape or form) is eligible as long as it is within the 24 month limit.
The Early Career Research Prize is open to anyone who who falls within the AHRC definition of an early career researcher (8 years of being awarded a PhD OR 6 years of their first full time contract in a teaching /research post). The prize is awarded for a piece of research (including practice-based/applied work) that has had an appropriate form and level of circulation/dissemination (e.g., publication, research project) and has been published or launched within 24 months of the nomination date. Research which has already secured funding (in any shape or form) is eligible as long as it falls within the 24 month limit.
