To mark the 50th anniversary of its London premiere, you will prepare a small exhibition at New Walk Museum and Art Gallery about Leicester-born writer Joe Orton’s most popular play, Loot. Material will be drawn from the Joe Orton Archive at the University
of Leicester, the largest collection of Orton material in the world, and will produce an A-Level Education Pack to support teachers and students studying the play through the WJEC syllabus, taught in more than 400 schools and colleges. You will promote the
public event to schools in advance by writing an 800-word article on Loot for WJEC’s online magazine, i.e. (Inside English). You will also design an event webpage, advertising materials, and promote the project and public event through social media. Informal
enquiries are welcome and should be made to Dr Emma Parker on
[log in to unmask] or 0116 252 2630. The closing date for this post is midnight on 17 January 2016. We anticipate that assessments will take place on 25 January 2016. Click here and search on the reference
