Job Advertisement: Closing Date 29th February 2016 PhD Studentships (4) in Astrophysics at the University of Hull As part of an ambitious investment strategy leading up to the City of Hull's 2017 City of Culture award, the newly established E.A. Milne Centre for Astrophysics is pleased to announce the availability of 4 fully-funded UK/EU PhD studentships, for entry in Sept 2016. The Milne Centre is a dynamic and supportive environment, hosting both the 2016 STFC Introductory Summer School and the 2017 National Astronomy Meeting. The 4 students will play leading roles in coordinating these events, and enjoy access to one of the country's most powerful High Performance Computing Facilities. The 4 studentships form the basis of the Milne Centre's "Origins Cluster", which has also seen the appointment of 8 staff and 6 PhD students over the past 18 months. Parallel investment in additional postdoctoral appointments accompany this current call.
