Hi all, The Francis Crick Institute's Public Engagement team is recruiting for a freelance Activity Developer to develop and produce a range of hands-on activities suitable for delivery at national science festivals, local community festivals and other public events. The activities will engage our priority audiences with the work of the Crick and generate excitement and interest in discovery science, human health and wellbeing. We'd like them to be a mixture of drop-in table-top activities, including some 'make-and-take' activities, and portable 'busking' activities. We envisage the piece of work will take about 20 days, to include research, development of initial ideas, design and build of kit, procurement of materials, testing and refinement. The project will kick off in early March, with final handover of the activities by the end of June 2016. If you're interested please contact me for the full brief. Applications close on Tue 16 Feb and interviews will be held during the week commencing Mon 22 Feb.
