Speakezee Presents; Cambridge- The Art of Science

Once seen as competing and incompatible, science and arts subjects are starting to realise just how much they can learn from each other. Join us as three scientists explain how the arts have influenced their research, and how their work influences their chosen art form. With performances from a science poet and a dancing psychologist as well as a glimpse into the future of music, the evening will explore how creativity and innovation can blossom when traditional categories are broken down.

Featuring:
Nicky Clayton, tango dancer and Professor of Comparative Cognition and Clive Wilkins, Artist in Residence both from the Department of Psychology, University of Cambridge.
Robin Lamboll, performance poet and Optoelectronics PhD student at the Department of Physics, University of Cambridge.
Rob Toulson, musician, music producer and Director of the Cultures of the Digital Economy Research Institute, Anglia Ruskin University.

Plus: Music from Daisy and the Dark, tango demonstration and Science-Art exhibition.

25 February 7pm

The Blue Moon, 2 Norfolk Street, CB1 2LF Cambridge, United Kingdom

Tickets: £10/£8 at https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/speakezee-presents-cambridge-the-art-of-science-tickets-20036307134
