Post-Doctoral position in Cognitive Neuroscience and Neurodegeneration
A post-doctoral position is available to work with Dr. Mary Pat McAndrews at the Krembil Research Institute, University Health Network and University of Toronto. The appointment is initially for 18 months, renewable. We are hoping to fill the position by March 1, 2016.
The project focuses on identifying MEG signatures of activity and connectivity (resting state and task-based) in individuals with MCI and healthy elders. In addition to MEG, the project will involve neuropsychological testing and EEG/MRI/fMRI data. Candidates must hold a Ph.D in Psychology or Neuroscience or related area and have relevant research experience in experimental design and analyses of neuroimaging and/or EEG data. Experience with MEG or signal analysis is a definite advantage; our system is Elekta Neuromag TRIUX 306 channel MEG system with built-in 64 channel EEG.
This position will provide training in areas related to neurodegenerative disorders and cognitive neuroscience and the opportunity to work in an interdisciplinary team involving neuropsychology, neurology, and computational neuroscience.
Applications should be sent by email ([log in to unmask]) and should include a CV, a brief statement of research interests, and names and contact information for 2 references.
