There are still a few places  available for a seminar in London on the Past, Present and Future of Mental Health Professions on Thursday January 14th 2016.
The speakers for this event are:

  *   Terry Bamford - Social Work
  *   Professor Tom Burns - Psychiatry
  *   Dr Claire Chatterton - Mental Health Nursing
  *   Professor John Hall - Clinical Psychology

Each of these four speakers will explore the history of how their profession has developed, the issues it faces now and possibly in the future. There will be opportunities for questions and discussion. The event will run from 10:30 to 16:00. This seminar is free and lunch will be provided.

The seminar is supported by the Open University's Mental Health teaching team as part of our work on developing a new module 'Exploring Mental Health Practice'.
