medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture

Deborah Mauskopf Deliyannis, Ravenna in Late Antiquity (p. 167) lists "Namor (Nabor)" as being from Milan.
Hope that helps...
good luck

Subject: [M-R] Saint Namor??

medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
A question.

The mosaic of male saints in the sixth-century Basilica di Sant'Apollinare Nuovo includes a saint called "SCS NAMOR" (between SCS URSICINUS and SCS FELIX) (Deichmann, vol. 3, Plate 122 (second figure from the right). In his commentary (vol. 1, p. 307) Deichmann refers to "Nabor".

I can find no reference to a "St. Namor" (only something brief on St. Nabor). Can someone supply further information?
