Here is our school's new GCSE grading in MFL: Year 7 Grade 1-3 Year 8 Grade 1-5 Year 9 Grade 1-6 (I use old NC for year 9, e.g. 6b, 6a, but other European languages have changed to use Grade 1-6. I transfer NC to the new grade 1-9 on their report but I has informed school the current year 9 will stay on old MFL GCSE if they carry on Chinese in KS4). The current year 9 will stay on the old GCSE (grade A-G). They are the last year group to do old Chinese GCSE. The new Chinese GCSE starts in September 2017. It means the current year 8 will be the first year group to do new Chinese GCSE. Hope this is useful. How will they be graded in GCSE exams? A to G or 1-9? Lots of parents made enquires, but I don't know where to find the answer. Where can I find the relevant information? Thanks!
