Director, Scottish Poetry Library The Scottish Poetry Library is seeking an inspiring, well-qualified and energetic person to lead this unique and ambitious organisation, which brings people and poems together. The SPL operates in both a national and an international context, with a strong online presence. The new Director will join the charitable organisation in the second of its three-year funding cycle, supported by Creative Scotland, and six months after the completion of a major capital project which has seen the Library expand its building and its access capacities. Building on these achievements, the new Director will lead on strategic planning for the organisation, managing and developing key relationships with stakeholders, partners and funding organisations to deliver a sustainable programme and a high profile within the poetry community and beyond, e.g. in the areas of health and well-being, equalities and education.
