italian-studies: Scholarly discussions in any field of Italian studies Errata corrige: Please note that the website of the journal Spunti e Ricerche is not responding so the contact emails have been updated. The Editorial Committee of Spunti e Ricerche, a refereed journal of Italian Studies, invites submissions for volume 31 (2016) on Dario Fo and Franca Rame. 2016 will mark Dario’s 90th birthday and this special issue can cover any aspect of the artists’ life, whether alone or as a couple, including but not limited to: • Theatre and performance from their beginnings through to present day • Songs • Radio, film and television • Art, including theatre sets, props, puppets and paintings • Dario Fo’s books on people, history, and art • Dario Fo and Franca Rame’s political experiences and writings Expressions of interest (including a 150-300 words abstract and short 100 word bio) should be sent to the special issue editor at [log in to unmask] by 29 January 2016. Articles will be subject to external review and may be written in English or Italian. Contributions should be submitted to the both the special issue editor - [log in to unmask] - and the editor - [log in to unmask] - of Spunti e Ricerche in their final version, using the latest MLA format with end notes and a list of works cited. The deadline for submissions is 30 May 2016. Please note we only consider completed and original articles that have not been submitted simultaneously to other journals. Alcuni temi indicativi: • Teatro e performance dagli inizi ad oggi • Canzoni • Radio, film e televisione • Arte, incluse scenografie e macchine sceniche, pupazzi e marionette, dipinti e litografie, ecc. • Opere non teatrali di Dario Fo • Esperienze e scritti politici di Dario Fo e Franca Rame Si prega inviare una mail di manifestazione di interesse (che comprenda un riassunto di 150-300 parole ed una breve biografia di 100 parole) a partecipare al numero speciale della rivista al direttore responsabile - [log in to unmask] - entro il 29 gennaio 2016. I saggi (in italiano o in inglese) verranno soggetti ad un esame esterno e dovranno essere inviati direttamente sia direttore responsabile del numero speciale - [log in to unmask] - che al Comitato editoriale della rivista Spunti e Ricerche - [log in to unmask] - in versione finale, secondo le regole di formattazione del MLA con note a fondo testo ed una lista di opere citate, entro il termine di consegna del 30 maggio 2016.
