Dear All

I'm very pleased to report that plans for the keenly awaited HER Forum 'Springtime Special' meeting are now well developed and I can now start collecting expressions of interest from those of you who would like to attend. The meeting will take place on Wednesday March 9th in the Daniel Gooch Theatre at the Steam<http://www.steam-museum.org.uk/aboutus/Pages/steamstory.aspx> railway museum, Swindon. A more detailed programme will be made available soon, but the general format will follow that of the usual HER Forum meetings with presentations on, amongst other topics, Parks and Gardens UK and Archaeological Priority Areas.

The morning session (11.00am - 1.00 pm) will, however, take the form of an informal workshop: HER Audits, HER Outcomes Framework ... and where to HER Benchmarks? (In 2013 Heritage Information Partnerships asked for your thoughts on how to improve the audit process. We used your feedback to help design and launch HER Audit Online. Now its turn for the audit specification to be revised!)

As usual the event will be free of charge to Forum members and refreshments and a buffet lunch will be available. If you would be interested in attending please contact me (preferably off-list) before 24th February 2016.

I very much hope you'll be able to attend and I look forward to seeing you there.

Best wishes

Nick
