The HEA's lunchtime webinar series continues in 2016, kicking off on Wednesday 13 January, 12:30-14:00, with 'Professional development and academic careers: What needs to change?' This webinar launches three new pieces of HEA research: · Shifting Landscapes: Meeting the staff development needs of the changing academic workforce · Defining and supporting the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL): A sector wide study · Rewarding educators and education leaders in research-intensive universities. The round table discussion will focus on different aspects of professional development, asking how differentiated career pathways for academic staff affect their opportunities for CPD.
