Hi Michiko,

For the controls that don't have medication: all zeros for the EV that codes medication. For the patients, put the dosage, and mean-center across the two patient groups (leave the controls out, otherwise they will have negative values for their medication).

All the best,

Anderson

Hi Anderson,

Thanks for the quick reply.

Just to be sure, if my hypotheses are to test whether significant differences in FA exist between:

1) each patient group and the control group respectively
2) between patient groups *(to provide more context, they are subgroups of a disease)

Would I still demean for medication dosages only across the 2 patient groups, or across all groups?

Thanks once more.
