Huge thanks to Patrick Hargon for creating the WcORD of the Day Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/WcORDoftheday/

Patrick recently created a Facebook page he’s calling WcORD of the Day where he has been posting links to various links in the WcORD database that he finds useful. For example, among his FB posts are link to the following:

• the link to CompPile bibliography on mandatory visits to writing centers

• the link to Stephanie Bell’s survey on configuration of writing centers in learning centers

• links to syllabus samples for tutor-training courses

Feel free to search WcORD (https://wlnjournal.org/wcord.php) for writing-center-related information you’re looking for. And add links to resources on your website for others to use. Share and collaborate! This database will only be as useful as we all make it. CompPile is a great example of the richness of rhetoric/composition publications, and together those of us who work in writing centers can all build WcORD to showcase all the great resources (videos, links to your mission statements, your website’s other resources such as instructional pages, podcasts, whatever) writing centers have!

Thanks, Patrick!!
