Hi All, 

If you are in the Southern California region, please consider attending SWIG’s (Supporting Women in Geography) 2nd Annual Critical Geographies Symposium on Everyday Spaces of Violence and Resistance that will take place next Monday and Tuesday, February 1st/ 2nd in San Diego at San Diego State University. We are very excited to bring together an eminent group of speakers, including: Nadera Shalhoub-Kevorkian (The Hebrew University of Jerusalem), George Ciccariello-Maher (Drexel University), Jenna Loyd (University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee), Jennifer Fluri (University of Colorado, Boulder), Cutcha Risling-Baldy (San Diego State University), and James Anderson (Southern Illinois University, Carbondale). The event is free and open to all.
