We are seeking an individual with research interests in the impact of diet and alcohol use on physical health (e.g. cancer or obesity) or mental health (e.g. depression), from an epidemiological and/or genetic perspective. You will have quantitative methodological expertise in big data, epidemiology and/or genetics applied to areas such as nutrition, alcohol, obesity and mental health. You will be expected to produce excellent quality research and contribute to teaching within the MBChB programme and to the supervision of undergraduate and taught masters students within the School of Psychology.  You should have a PhD in a relevant discipline (e.g. psychology / epidemiology / behavioural genetics), a track record of publications in high quality journals and be able to demonstrate research independence, leadership and the ability to work flexibly and collaboratively.
