The following paid internship has just been advertised on Alleyn’s School website. Please bring it to the attention of anyone who has both web content editor skills and historic research skills.

 

This leading HMC co-educational school seeks to appoint a WW1 Project Researcher and Web Editor Intern.  This is a fixed term position of 26 weeks.  The position is available from February or once safeguarding checks are complete. 

The aim of the Project Researcher is to research, write, review and add the biographies of the Alleyn’s old boys who fought in WW1 on to a new website, for which training will be given.  

The successful applicant will have a proven interest in history and web content publishing, have a good level of written English and a good knowledge of using computers and software such as MS Office. He/she should be able to work unsupervised and have good time management and teamwork skills.  

The post is part time (one day per week – either Tuesday or Wednesday), working during term time and school holidays.  The salary is £9.40 per hour.
