Hi Jethro,

Yes, however, it still encourages staff and students to use it, which you really don't want (they, unlike us, won't realise that Eduroam is a fine and precious thing). VisitorWifi sends out a much clearer message, and visitors will see the clear branding once they choose it, so realise it's The Cloud and third party.

Presumably, for sites using 'eduroam' as their primary SSID, simply removing the opportunistic underscore from '_The Cloud' will be sufficient to also achieve much the same outcomes, and still retain the essential identity of the service.  Crucially, that also retains the implication that it is provided by a third party, and yet keeps it recognisable to potential users who are alreday familiar with that service elsewhere, both of which seem important points to me.
