Dear Michelle

Thank you for your email. I’m sorry you can’t join live, but I have been advised that it will be recorded and the best way to access is to sign up for the webinar on the HEA site (link below). You will then be sent all the materials and the link for the recording.

I hope that helps.

Best wishes

Liz

Hello Liz,

Your research is particularly interesting to me and my own background supporting adult learners who have specific learning difficulties (feel free to view my details on my LinkedIn profile - link below my signature).

Unfortunately I will be busy at the time of your free webinar on 2nd December, but I wondered if it will be recorded, and if so how could I access the recording please?

Best wishes

Michelle

Apologies for cross posting

We are very pleased to announce that our research on students' perspectives and experiences of independent learning is to be launched by the HEA on 2nd December. This includes a free lunch time webinar on 2/12 : https://www.heacademy.ac.uk/research/research-webinars, plus we will be delivering a workshop at the Universities UK conference on Enhancing the student experience on 9th December http://www.universitiesuk.ac.uk/events/Pages/StudentExperience2015.aspx.

We found students from all disciplines were under-prepared for the reality of independent learning in higher education. Many felt overwhelmed by both the volume and type of learning required.
