Dear Jean,
Good idea to organise Writing Retreat. We have published a few papers on various aspects of academic writing (not specific to Realist Synthesis), but perhaps
of use. See copies attached,

Subject: Writers retreat 19th and 20th Feb 2016
Hi everyone - Mari Berge and I are both third year PhD students using realist evaluation at Stirling University. We are planning a realist writers retreat for the 19th and 20th Feb 2016. We hope to have a speaker on one of the days and
the rest of the time will be focussed on planned writing sessions.
We would be delighted if anyone who is interested would like to join us. We are hoping for a mixture of experience levels which will support joint learning and stimulate discussions during breaks.
There is a hotel at the university campus where we hope to negotiate good rates (currently £59 for one night but is sometimes on booking.com for £39) and we are also applying to our school for some funding.
If you are interested at all, please do get in touch.
Many thanks, Jean
