We are looking for a Research Fellow / Senior Research Assistant to work on an on-going NIHR HS&DR funded project (full time until 30 September 2017). We are investigating what patients, service providers and healthcare professionals think and feel about urgent care services (such as NHS 111 and walk-in centres), and how and why patients use them. We aim to develop a conceptual model to explain patient choices, decisions and behaviour in relation to urgent care.

The post holder will play a key role in undertaking a structured review of the literature, conducting qualitative interviews with patients across Hampshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire, assisting in two citizens’ panels, and analysing qualitative data.

If you would like some further information about the study then please get in touch with Jo Turnbull ([log in to unmask]) or Catherine Pope ([log in to unmask]).

If you know someone who might be interested please alert them to the advertisement : https://jobs.soton.ac.uk/Vacancy.aspx?ref=614015BN-R
