Hi All, Online Library Project Assistant x 2 London £23,669 per annum We are recruiting for two Library Assistant jobs. A leading London university is seeking two Library Assistants for a six month contract to assist with the maintenance and development of online library services for a wide range of library users, primarily the staff and students of the university's distance learning courses. The primary focus of the job will be contributing to the completion of the architectural and content redevelopment of the new online library website (updating existing content, creating new content) and ensuring that all support materials are tailored to specific programme needs. You will also contribute to the usability testing of the beta site in order to ensure that it's fit for purpose, provide support, advice and training to faculty staff in the use of the online library and its electronic collections, and first-line technical support for all users. This is an excellent opportunity for two library professionals looking to expand upon their existing library experience in a well establish and well respected university library setting. This interesting project will draw upon and allow you to further develop your web and library IT skills, particularly your ability to update web content. This job would suit a professional librarian with previous experience of website or intranet maintenance, content management systems and basic HTML.
