Dear all, The Monument Class Descriptions were available on the old www.eng-h.gov.uk<http://www.eng-h.gov.uk> site. They have now been superseded by the Designation Selection Guides and the Introduction to Heritage Assets which can be browsed and downloaded in .pdf format by visiting https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/selection-criteria/ I hope this helps? These were the early batches of MCDs and do not include the Industrial descriptions or step reports (which were also useful). I had to discard my paper copies during an office move, but found them a useful reference. I've not found them on the new HE site – perhaps someone there could let us know where they were moved to? If they are useful, could/should they not be available online, e.g. From FISH? It is always useful to be able to access legacy data standards as they tend to be present in datasets long after their official lifespan. We can put something on the hbsmr documentation website if that would help. Although MPP past away a while ago the MPP descriptions, where they were produced (and many never were) are very useful.
