REGIONAL STUDIES Journal - Call for Editors

Dear List members,

The Regional Studies Association seeks to appoint three additional Editors to its journal REGIONAL STUDIES.

Regional Studies is a leading international journal in theoretical development, empirical analysis and policy debate in the multi- and inter-disciplinary field of regional studies. The journal invites established and upcoming scholars to submit agenda-setting work focusing on economic, environmental, political, and social change aspects of regional (subnational) development and policy-making. Regional Studies is a central forum for debating the most recent results from research on regional development and policy-making from an interdisciplinary perspective.

The Editors to be appointed will support the existing team of Editors, led by Editor-in-Chief Ivan Turok (HSRC, South Africa), in upholding rigorous peer review, enhancing the journal’s reputation as a world-leading publication in the field of regional studies, and ensuring that it is in a position to attract the best authors and papers for its readership. One position has become available as a result of an Editor reaching the end of their term; two further positions have been created to provide additional support due to increasing submissions. The journal is keen to appoint at least one additional Editor with expertise in quantitative techniques or time-series econometrics, and at least one Editor from beyond Europe.

Further details are available from the Regional Studies Association Office ([log in to unmask]) or from the Association website at http://goo.gl/bejSZG

Closing date: No later than 5pm (UK time) Friday, 5th February 2016
