Wellcome Trust University Award Competition – Medical Humanities
The University of Liverpool is planning to support a Medical Humanities University Award application to the
Wellcome Trust
and is seeking expressions of interest from dynamic and enthusiastic candidates with a strong research track record in this area.
We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in the following areas:

The Political Economy of Health: the impact of economic and political change on human and environmental health
·
Population and Public Health: health demography, health inequalities, the relationship between individual and community health
·
A Radical Politics of Health: bioethics, biopolitics, contested health and activism, violence, trauma and slavery
·
Space, Place and Time: from ancient histories to imagined futures, the intersection of psychological and cultural factors on health expectations and experiences
