medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture Dear Malgorzata,
What are the measurements? The figure clearly seems to come from a Mass of Saint Gregory (see the sculpted version given on the German wikipedia site https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gregorsmesse), so probably was fixed to a sculpted background showing the altar. I’d definitely be interested in more images!

Dear list members,
The Hunt Museum collections, Limerick have amongst their objects a wooden figure of the Man of Sorrows set in a chalice, here is the link to the objecthttp://www.huntmuseum.com/collection/collection-items/mg-042.aspx, described as produced in south Germany but undated. The figure has small holes at the back suggesting it was attached to something. I would be grateful for any suggestions on the object’s date and possible use. I can email additional images directly if interested.
Thank you for your help,
Malgorzata
