Reading the World: Challenging Canon Formations, co-organised by the IES and CCLPS (SOAS), will take place at Senate House on December 3.

Man Booker International Prize jury chair, Marina Warner, will be keynote speaker.
Conference panelists will explore the issue of finding ways to give marginalized writers visibility to a globally enlarged readership. Challenging the role of  gatekeepers both in and out of the academy; examining specific examples of silenced voices and arguing for new pathways to inclusion will highlight the day's events.

The following hashtag will be used to tweet about the conference: #ReadWorld15
