The Huston School of Film & Digital Media invites applications for the NUI Galway 2016 Hardiman Research Scholarship scheme for new PhD students. Applications are specifically invited for research
proposals in the areas of Hollywood history, gender and sexuality onscreen, cinematic space, sport and visual culture, Irish cinema (including Irish language cinema), film phenomenology, and digital arts and humanities. Alongside thesis-only PhD projects,
we welcome proposals which include a practice component. The Hardiman Research Scholarships are fully funded for four years, with a stipend of €16,000 p.a. plus fees. Applications for the 2016 scheme close on the 20th November 2015. More information on the
