Hi
In our libraries we have some of the large, heavy paperbacks stored horizontally on the shelf, with the spines facing out, rather than vertically. This makes it easier for students to get the books without the
whole shelf collapsing on them.
Hope this helps

Subject: Non skid shelf tape
Hello,
We have a very big issue in our library: the books keep toppling over due to very slippery shelves.
I have just noticed that Gresswell sells something called non skid shelf tape, which apparently prevents books from falling over.
Has anybody used this and has it worked?
I have tried extra strong book ends to no avail.
Any tips about this would be very welcome.
Many thanks,
Jose
