I've noticed this too, but not across the board which I've found even more puzzling. At the end of September we launched our new discovery service, so what I've noticed is that 'specialised' databases are seeing better usage, but the big multidisciplinary resources from where we get much of our full-text content are dropping.

In general, our stats are down on last year as well. Does Counter 4 count uses differently from its predecessor?

Subject: [lis-e-resources] Usage stats down for 2014-15?

After running our usage statistics for the academic year 2014-15, I noticed that our JR1 stats have dropped for the majority of our big deal publishers. Has anyone else noticed this? I can't think of any logical reason why this might be as our student numbers are growing and I'd expect our stats to continue rising as usual. Just wondered if it was something others were experiencing and not just us, Thanks Erica
