The updated figures for regional activity around Inter-lending and document supply have been posted to the LIHNN website
Highlights
·
All requests for articles have dropped from 45,147 in 2005/06 to 8,642 in 2014/15
·
Copies supplied within LIHNN have dropped from 36,809 in 2003/04 to 4,379 in 2014/15
·
Copies supplied by the British library have dropped from 13,471 in 2003/04 to 1,225 in 2014/15
·
Copies supplied from other libraries (non LIHNN, BMA, RSM , PLCS, NULJ etc) have dropped from 7,615 in 2005/06 to 3,008 in 2014/15
·
All Inter-Library Loans has dropped from 6,213 in 2003/04 to 2,732 in 2014/15 ……. but peaked at 8,637 in 2011/12
·
Inter-Library Loans has dropped from 2,790 in 2005/06 to 2,386 in 2014/15 ……. but peaked at 7,371 in 2011/12
·
Inter-Library Loans from the British Library has dropped from 2045 in 2005/06 to 179 in 2014/15
