The Agricultural Information Management Standards (AIMS) Community [1] in cooperation with the BigDataEurope Consortium [2], is pleased to announce a new webinar entitled "INRA's Big Data Perspectives and Implementation Challenges" [3]. The session will take place on the 23rd of November 2015 - 11:00 Rome Time [4] and will be presented by Pascal Neveu [5], director of Mistea Laboratory at Montpellier SupAgro-INRA [6].

ABOUT THE WEBINAR

"INRA's Big Data Perspectives and Implementation Challenges" webinar will give a perspective on big data and implementation challenges for agronomic research organisations such as the French National Institute for Agricultural Research (INRA). The presenter will focus on the characteristics of big data in agriculture using a specific case study on high throughput plant phenotyping where a lot of heterogeneous data need to be generated and managed. This use case shows how to deal with variety of data.
