You are invited to submit papers for presentation at the 22nd International Panel Data Conference to be held on Tuesday, 28th and Wednesday, 29th June 2016 in Fremantle, Western Australia. The broad themes of the conference include:

•	High-dimensional covariance matrices: specification, estimation and testing;
•	Factor models in economics and finance; 
•	Dynamic multi-factor model; 
•	Short-T and/or short-N panels; 
•	Cross-section dependence: specification, estimation and testing; 
•	Non-linear panels; 
•	Spatial vs panel econometrics; 
•	Stability and breaks in panels; 
•	Forecasting with panels; 
•	Bootstrapping with panels; 
•	Panel quantile regression; 
•	Applications: energy, productivity, technical changes, income inequality, growth. 

The conference is being hosted by the School of Economics and Finance, Curtin University in collaboration with the Centre for Research in Applied Economics (CRAE) and Bankwest Curtin Economic Centre (BCEC). The event is proudly sponsored by Economic Society of Australia (ESA WA branch), International association of Applied Econometrics, University of Melbourne, University of New South Wales, GAUSS and Survey Design and Analysis Services.

Fremantle
The port city of Fremantle is located at the mouth of the Swan River on the west coast of Western Australia and is part of the Perth metropolitan area. Perth city is only 20km away which is a 25 minute cab ride or 30 minute trip by train.  Established in 1829, Fremantle is one of Western Australia’s most historic and beautiful cities. Recognised as the best preserved 19th century seaport in the world, “Freo” (as it is affectionately referred to by locals) has over 150 buildings classified by the National Trust.
