I do not see this as being PD. Does not relate to him at all.

Clue is in his misconception that it is fundamental to the correspondence. It is totally irrelevant as they bought the whole debt.

Note also debtors ID and circumstances where almost certainly unknown and irrelevant to the purchase. Factors typically simply buy a book of debts at a %age.

Paraphrasing a famous case I dare not mention - it's not about him it's about the debt.
